Charlie Edsall

Sawmill Road guitarist Charlie Edsall is quickly becoming one of today’s premier bluegrass guitarists.

 

Along with bandmates Dick Brown, Steve Spurgin, Bruce Johnson and Mark Miracle, Charlie has created an original sounding bluegrass album with “One,” the debut album from Sawmill Road.

 

As a songwriter, his self-penned “Cold Virginia Rain” is the #1 cut on “Bluegrass Prime Cuts, Vol. 69” on Pinecastle Records, and has been recorded by Josh Williams and performed by “Rhonda Vincent & The Rage” on The Grand Old Opry.

 

When he needs a responsive, powerful guitar for performances, Charlie plays the Recording King Classic Series with Herringbone (RD-127).
