Lap Steel Series

The Recording King Lap Steel guitar is now available in matte mahogany (RG-31) or classic sunburst (RG-32) finishes. The solid mahogany body and the string-through-body design make for full, powerful sustain. A single Alnico P-90 pickup gives the Recording King classic lap steel tone. Our matte mahogany version features open-geared tuning machines, and a slotted headstock, while the classic sunburst model has traditional-style tuners on a Recording King headstock. The single volume and tone controls allow players to shape their tone easily and effectively, from classic country lines to blues licks.
